Pukapuka Talks

Friday 22 October 2021

Sadly, this year's Nelson Arts Festival has had to be scaled back due to Covid level changes, but we're glad to see some of the Pukapuka talks are still going ahead in digital form. These talks will be available through the Festival's virtual platform, and even better news, three of the talks are now free. These are:

Writing home: an antidote to feeling stranded (available from 22-25 October 2021): With Hinemoana Baker Paula Morris Mohamed Hassanand Rajorshi Chakraborti;

The mirror book (Friday 22 October 2021): Miro Bilbrough speaks with Charlotte Grimshaw about her new book;

Once were hippies (Monday 25 October 2021): Steve Braunias speaks with Miro Bilbrough about her memoir, In The Time of the Manaroans.
