Membership
Membership is free to anyone under 18 years. You will need a parent or guardian to sign your enrolment form. They will need to show ID and proof of address.

It is free to borrow any item from children’s or young adult collections.

Which libraries can I use?
There are four libraries in Tasman District. Use your card at any of these libraries - Richmond, Motueka, Murchison or Takaka.

How many items can I have on loan at one time?
You can borrow up to 20 items at any time.


How long can I borrow items?
3 or 6 week loans – 3 weeks is normal, but long loans are available, just ask. Library fines apply if items are returned late. Renewals can be made online, by phone or when visiting.
Making reservations
Anything from the children’s or young adult collections can be reserved for free on a Junior Members card.
Renewing items online
PIN Numbers - arrange a PIN number on your next library visit. Your PIN number allows you to renew, reserve or research our Online Resources from home.
